Diff seals.

They are not the same size. Even the two fronts are different from each other.

On a D2 you have unplug and re-plug the instrument cluster a couple of times and it will work again. No re-coding needed.

Manual swap

manual swaps are very time consuming. It makes the project more expensive than a price of an average D2 today. By the time you are sourced all the parts and add all the labor and coding you are...

Starter wire

On the starter: did you connect the small wire to the upper/inner terminal? There are two spade connector terminals on the starter. It won't work on the lower one.

I would start with checking ground connections.

They could cause a lot of faults.

I would replace the bearing and the output flange.

the inside is probably still fine. These were made bulletproof. Or just get that back section from a junkyard. Make sure it is the same trans type.

The left side cylinder is the pump

the two cylinders on the top are the two valves for the dual climate control. If it makes noise it could have air trapped in it. You can just turn up the stereo and ignore it.

I don't have the wiring for the D2 anymore, but

I would check if they share a ground. 22years could cause some corrosion at ground points.

I would clean the icv with break cleaner see it it moves freely.

clear all the codes and see how it goes. If the crank sensor is bad it wouldn't start at all. Also make sure that you have fuel pressure at the rail.

There is an actual cable between the shifter and the ignition.

You can adjust it to get the stretch/slack out of it.

You have to remove the throttle body

I think you need a 6mm Allen. Then a Phillips #2.

I would replace the throttle position sensor.

They wear wear out at the " light throttle position" where they are used the most. It is on the back side of the throttle body facing the firewall.

The part number is different, bu that bolt is same on all D2 A-S8s. You can reuse it.

It is a very strong bolt that holds the subframe to the aluminum body.
It is not a stretch bolt.

It will need a rebuild.

70% of the transmission that I rebuild has new fluid in it. Everyone is hoping that the fluid change will fix it. It makes it worse. Your shop knows that too, once it is worse they know that you most...

It is a same sensor, but the end connector is different.

Make sure that that you have the 5mm aluminum spacer under the sensor or it will hit the flywheel.
