One bulb out won’t trigger the warning light. It’s most likely your lights burned out separately over time. Closing the trunk eventually breaks the light filaments. Easy and inexpensive fix.

One more opinion...Redline oil was initially developed for racing applications. It's expensive for a reason and they were up front that they had less cleaning agents than road going synthetic oils....

No twist in the caliper piston to retract. Before you remove the old pads after retracting the parking brake use a small pry bar to retract the piston against the old pads.
