From my sources I doubt that size will be reduced significantly, its the Q7's unique selling point over rivals X5, M Class, etc. But it will be 300kg lighter. Engines will be in 6 and 8 cylinder...

I recently changed my MMI system to a new one ordered from Germany. The one I ordered is for the V12 Q7, this is replacing my original one in the '07 V8. There is a different Pin configuration...

I am interested in doing this as well. I have new window switches for the whole Q7 and need to find clear instructions on taking the door trim/card off to install. Let me know how you go?
