A8 D3 keys locked in ignition and battery flat dead / ignition unlock wont work

I have an 05 audi a8L. my key is locked in the ignition and battery is flat dead. I have tried the ingition unlock thing where you use a sharp object but there is nothing there and it does not work....

how can i tell if its the rack? just a hose? or the pump? any particular test or where exactly will the leak be coming from? it only leaked out after i started the car.

have same issue on mine, trying to find a cheap used strut but most seem to be in the upper 400s, will make no sense to buy used at that price when rebuilt is 650. my compressor seems to also be bad...
