That does seem a bit low, but not overly suprising. These 4.2's suck fuel big time. I will get around 12-14 mpg's in city driving and around 19-20 hwy at a steady 65. (I too have a 6spd).

Listen for timing chain noise upon start up...it is considered normal, but if it is loud, could mean a chain tensioner, chain guide repair. This would be an engine out fix and serious money (5-8K)....

I am running 19" RS4 replicas on my S4 cab. I am running factory offset of ET45. If you want to get a more flush look with the wheels, ET35 will bring the wheels out to the fender w/out rub issues....
