Owned both vehicles and putting it in technical terms -

I love my RS4 and wouldn't trade it for any B5. I highly doubt anything less than a stage 3/4 B5 would do it. Possibly a stage 2+ (with strait through cats/downpipes) and on a race...

The residual is probably low vs the value and I would guess that Audi will be offering financial incentives to keep them out of their inventory. 0% would be nice as that is how I purchased my 01 S4...

I did have a couple of episodes of misfirings over the life of the s4 (maybe 2-3) that I thought might be attributable to bad gas but I blamed it on the aftermarket chip more than anything else. ...

I got 32mpg on a trip in my Stage II B5 s4

from Minneapolis to Indiana
