Meh... MNAudi is ok for buying/selling parts and such, but very little knowledge in that group.

Mostly a bunch of B5 posers and people who would rather meet up for lunch than run at a track event.

With the A/C on, the fans should run constantly. That's the way it's been on all my C4s.

If the car gets too hot, they may increase speed, but if you see the snowflake on the display, the fans should be turning.

Change the engine? LOL... or just pull codes and diagnose.

I have seen this with a failing cam position sensor many times. Similar problems could also be attributed to a failing crank position sensor or temp sender. You said you replaced the temp switch,...

LOL... Definitely not collectible. It's essentially a 5000 with a facelift and updated interior.

There were lots of small updates, engine updates, etc. Audi started using the 100 name in America in 1989, but it was used for the same cars in Europe many years before that.

Check fluid level. Sounds like a low fluid condition. If it's low, find the source of the leak.

One that I recently repaired happened to have a torque converter seal leak. It was not repaired in a timely fashion and caused the clutches in the trans to get thrashed. My guess would be that the...

But the linkage flexes too much to actually get it to unlatch, and the handle "feels" much looser than it should when pulling it. Typically you get one that falls completely out, so the internal...

I call BS. If you thought you lost mileage using 87 octance, try E85. Engines can be tuned to..

make use of E85 for developing power, but it will never be as efficient as non-blended gasoline.
