best way to get in IMO is to flip down the center seat in the 2nd row and walk on into the 3rd row

Even at 6'0" I can scramble back there this way. This is how our kids get back there too.

I had no hesitations...

Oblu You've bought the wrong part number - 8E0 part is what you are showing

You need a 4E0 part number for MMI vehicles. The module you have is for non MMI vehicles (A4/S4, A3, old TT etc..)

FOLLOW UP - Bought the Regent and Returned it

Man that thing is huge. Now wonder why it's called the Regent as you could fit a king in that beast.

We decided to go with the smaller Britax Decathlon as we wanted to be able to haul one of...

If I were you I'd remove the rear panel - it's just way too difficult to try and install the module

without removing that panel.

There should be two clips w/screws that hold the module together. I've have pictures if you send me your email addx.

Re: I have a 7 seater - if you have a center console in the 2nd row = it's a 6 seater

Those with seven seats have a row of seats in the second row that will seat three people. The 18" center section flips down, via a button on the top of the seat, for access to the third row or for...

Can you take a picture of the MMI screen after selecting NAV?

Also, your disk might not eject as the dealer needs to enable that feature during the pre delivery inspection. (you can enable this if you have a VAG-COM.)

I'd check the fuse first as discussed...

Britax Regent - Any issues with fitting this booster in 2nd row?

Guys,
It's time to move our 2nd child into our first child's convertible carseat so I'm leaning towards going with the Britax Regent. For those that have one did you have any issues with fitment in...

Re: navigation - what do you consider pre wired?

If you are inquiring if the nav module is plug and play - it's not. You need additional wiring and cables to link into the comms bus and connect to the shark's fin.

I've installed four nav...

Re: MMI updates are free (if you can get them to perform them) but 99% of the dealers out there

aren't giving away 2008 NAV DVD's. If your dealer is giving these away. Can you let us know who you get your vehicle serviced by? Next time I'm in your area I'll pick one up ;-)

Re: SW is the same across the product line - Acura probably has the best NAV

Everything is a bit of a tradeoff though. Remember if you had a Toyota you couldn't even use it while driving.

With Audi's Nav if you don't know the address of where you are going or would like...
