I had to take to the dealer as I could not determine.
it was the Sirius module which was staying on.
They simply disconnected that module and since then no issues

Question on Siren Module 2005 Audi A6

Is there some activation that I need to do after replacing this siren module in 2005 Audi A6.?
It locks, but does not beep?
I do have the ross tech diagnostic cable.
Any help would be appreciated.

Oil leak

i realized the valve stems are leaking oil
so I added a sealant around the valve cover gasket
and added Lucas oil additive to reduce the oil leak.

I ordered the crankcase vent valve, just to see if that helps while my mechanic friend is getting a oil cap for that car, drill a hole and measure the pressure.

In m case, there was no wires were baked, The adaptive part did not work but the lights did work. So, I was lucky to find a new OE adaptive headlight on ebay for like $255....

I saw engine mounts with sensor from eeuroparts.com for like $80 and $98
and the vendor says these parts are made in Germany for them.
The Audi OE part is like $300+.
Are these mounts good quality...

and was quite easy to do this.

i have the gasket O-ring as well as the odd shape gasket
for the vacuum pump.
Can someone post directions on how to do this
with torque specs etc.
