i doubt it would ever get hot enough to melt the paint. i was thinking of taking that off to let the HOT underhood heat to escape faster. what do you think. ive had mine off my ls400 for over a year...

jw is there a coolant line that goes into the throttle body to heat it up. aka less power? its so tight back there i cant really see have you seen one?

anyone selling there rear a8 muffler? thats almost half the size of the s8 stock muffler. hence buy that and take off the big clunky rear s8 muffler for that.

next car/truck is going to be the 2004 tourag tdi, mmm take off all 4 or whatnot cats thats on it, intake, nozzles, egr delete, chip. and it will be hauling ass forever! more smoke then a semi lol
