no. haven't even seen it.

the biggest pain in the ass of the whole procedure was in the front left corner, fishing that wire next to the windshield is near impossible. luckily i have an a-pillar boost gauge, so i just ran...

a word of advice -- don't forget to remove the shipping caps when installing

my friend left one of the plastic plugs in on one of his k04's...didn't figure out what happened until it blew oil out the exhaust.

you need two things to replace an O2 sensor, usually...

a jack, and a crescent wrench. and the O2 sensor, obviously.

it's really simple. screw out the old, trace the wire, unplug, replace sensor.

so i found the source of my rattle - the heatshield on top of the cat is loose

stromung exhaust. the cat looks like 3 identical pieces of metal sandwiched together. the bottom two make the body of the cat, and the top one looks like a heatshield.

176 seems right

the B5S4 with a close (but not the same) top gear ratio had a paper top speed of 183.

also -- if your car is drag limited, you're not putting out enough power :-P
