Had to pull my records: Bought in December 1990 with 93K miles, sold in 1996 with 118K miles. My maintenance and addons (8by15 rims, chip, exhaust etc.) came to $9.6K Along with the purchase price...

I'd keep the 95.5. I had an 83 UrQ and it was a nightmare. It was the first car that Audi made that came with a computer. The electrical system was undersized for what it had to do. It is not...

FWIW - Locked diffs in a UrQ

When I had my '83 UrQ and locked the center and rear differentials and then went speeding thru new snow I experienced quite a bit of torque steer. It was not something you would want nor expect but...

On mine it was a loose hose by one of the pumps. The hose had taken a set, was loose but not totally inflexible. I tightened it up using a small ty-wrap. So far so good - its been over a year and...

I wrapped the lower portion with duct tape

until they were snug. Also tightened them down quite firmly. They have not come loose and I did that 5 years ago.
