It should have transfered power to the rear wheels. Most likely your Haldex computer is dead. I had mine Haldex computer go and it worked as a FWD car. It did always illumiate the haldex light...

The best bet is to buy a driver and fix as you drive. Once you decide on a ground up resto price goes way up. Figure 15k+ to start up to 25k+. I have talked with people who have spent twice this...
