Not for a panel that slides into the roof.

It'd be no different than what's currently available on the A4, A6, and A8.

Agreed.

A moonroof panel that slides open over the roof (as opposed to inside the roof) would be worse than no moonroof at all. I'm disappointed that they don't offer one like what's currently...

How would a sliding roof panel detract from the car's lines?

Sorry, but that makes no sense to me. Worst case scenario, they could have made the sliding panel body-colored rather than smoked glass. Still, nearly every other luxury car can be had with a power...

Do we really believe that Audi can't put a power moonroof into this car?

I got my first in-person look at an S5 at the San Francisco Auto Show. As much as I liked the car, the lack of a power-operated sliding moonroof is a deal breaker for me. I looked at the roof line...

Tilting roof panel is useless.

While I like most of what I see in the S5 and would love to include it on my list of candidates for my next car, the absence of a sliding sunroof is a deal breaker for me. Does anyone else here feel...

Things are good, thanks!

While I'm glad that I bought the Corvette, I definitely miss being a member of the Audi family. My 2 A6s were the best cars I've ever owned, no question about it. If I was a betting guy, I'd wager...

Tighter suspension, firmer seats.

My first A6 (2000 2.8q) didn't have the Sport Package (not available on 2000 2.8s). While I loved the car, the ride was a little (not a lot) soft and the handling was OK but not great. The seats...

My bathroom faucets were made in your home town.

I was born in Milwaukee, raised in New Berlin, went to school at UW-Madison. I've lived in California for the past 21 years but my heart will always be in Wisconsin. It's a great place.

If you're starting with a finish that's free of swirls and spiderwebs...

...try this.

- I only wash my car in the shade or when it's not under direct sunlight; otherwise it will definitely pick up waterspots from evaporation.

- I start by washing the wheels, tires,...

Looks great! I have the California version.

I don't have the car anymore but I kept the plate.

Where in Wisconsin are you?

It might be overpriced but I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I could afford one.

Not only is it an absolutely kick-ass car, but its exclusivity and the fact that it's an Audi more than justify the price IMO. If I had it, I'd pay it.

Regarding the pic in your post, I will NEVER understand why...

...the car's owner wants to advertise that she bought her Audi used from a Toyota dealership (per the license plate frame). I see this all the time and it doesn't make sense to me. ...

Thanks for the tip, Ed.

Yeah, I've already decided that if I do something it will be an S-Line with Tech Package (unless I figure out a way to go all the way with an S6!).

I can't believe I'm even asking this, but what kind of discounts are dealers giving these days...

...off the purchase of a new 2007 A6 4.2? I've been Audiless for nearly 2 years now and, as much fun as I'm having with the Corvette, I'm really starting to miss my Audi. I've owned 2 Audis, both...

The wheels on your car were part of the Sport Package in 2003.

Non-sport 4.2s came with 16" 6-spoke wheels. Another way to tell is by looking at the seats. On the front seats, Sport Package-equipped cars will have 5 sections on the seat bottoms (including the...

Damn! That is one beautiful car.

I'm truly envious. How do you like it? (BTW, I also have a D2X - sweet camera, eh?)

I love your car!

I had an '03 4.2.

To this day, it was the sweetest car I've ever owned. I sold it 2 years ago to buy the Corvette and I'm still going through withdrawl. You're going to love it.

A couple of pics of my former...

Speaking of Old N-Slow...

...when did you become a moderator here? I just noticed it for the first time! I guess I need to show up here more often.

Hope all's well with you, Joseph.
