Drive both on the hwy and you'll get the picture. the 6spd will get you into ticket trouble a lot faster than the 5spd.

having to rebuild the head is a sign of something...whether abuse or irregular oil changes etc. 1.8t's are rugged engines. I love my b6...but i'm also prepared to pay to keep it running nice.

get temp sensor for the rear flange as well... wasn't in the quote you have there...i don't think it came with the coolant flange. my guy at universal auto works in Markham would be a good bet....

A4Novice is correct... when you don't maintain your car it is junk. For us true Audiphiles maintenance (like tire pressure) isn't an issue. A4Novice should drive lexus.

your experiences with the dealer may vary... I had an aftermarket Intercooler that popped a hose...limped home wtih MAF unplugged (little trick that may save you a tow truck..i drove 100km that way...
