Too many people (on this board and off) thinking that $36k with a warranty was only a "pretty good" deal. I decided not to deal with it, sold it to Carmax for $33k and will get $2k back from Audi...

I just picked up a Tundra (yeah, I know, it's not on your list) which is a perfect utilitarian addition to the household: seats the kids, hauls stuff, tows stuff, etc, etc. It is also a "normal" car...

only below 2000-2500 rpms, and only really when the exhaust is hot

The only time I notice it is after driving somewhere on the highway and then hitting local neighborhood streets, where you keep the speed and revs down.

On the highway, I don't notice any droning...
