For those with the VW Phatbox without the Audi cable...

You DO have the VW connector that brings the 25 pin phatbox connector to 9 wires which can be used for the Audi plug. (Actually, you use 10 out of the 13 pins on the Audi din plug, but the VW cable...

I think you will need both

The VW model comes with the Phatnoise player hardware and a cable that connects to a VW CD changer cable, which is useless.

You need a way to get from the 25 pin plug on the back of the Phatbox...

The problem is you can't get the cable from clairparts

I bought the VW one also, big mistake. I ordered the cable, been waiting over a week, and I just got an email from clairparts saying they can't get any cables. Their solution is to buy another...

These cables are on WORLDWIDE BACKORDER. Impossible to get.

If your dealer says they can have it in a couple days, he is probably full of it.

Thanks Gary...

didn't know it was closer to 235/75...so if the current size is 225/75R15, going to 30X9.5R15 is a bad idea because it will increase the diameter?

Help with tire sizing

This isn't really Audi related, but I'm sure somebody here knows the answer. I know how to read a tire size, 225/50/R15 for example, but what about light truck tires that are marked like "30X9.5"?

That's what I was thinking. Do you know if this can be replaced fairly easily?

or am I going to have to remove the dashboard or airbag to get at this thing?

Of course this has to happen mid summer when it's in the 90's outside.

My a/c stopped blowing air!! Is this common?

I checked the fuse for the HVAC blower and it's fine. If I turn on the A/C I can hear the compressor fire up, but don't feel any air. It won't blow any hot air either.

Has anyone heard of this...

If I replace my Concert HU with an aftermarket one, is my CD changer (panny DP-801) useless?

I think it's about time I replaced the head unit in my '99 A4. I haven't used a cassette tape in about 8 years and it will be nice to play mp3/wma files. Is there any way I'll be able to use the...

The $50 coupon is for the Delphi unit only, not the car or home kit

Print out the coupon from the link you provided and look at the model number, it for the SA10000 only. Car and home kits are SA10003 and SA10004.

It had those other model numberss when it first...

I saw those adapters, but I have a CD changer which uses that already

Does the adapter have some kind of a switch on it to go between a CD changer and satellite, or do you just lose the CD changer capability altogether?

Does the concert head unit have an auxillary (rca) input?

I'm thinking about getting XM, but I don't want to use an FM modular or the tape deck.
