my 2001 vibrates a lot.

definitely vibrates a lot more after putting on h-sports (hard) a few years ago. also, my allroad definitely was in a wreck at some point. so, i just sort of chalk it all up to less places for road...

i'll second that opinion - and add valve cover gasket.

my b5 s4 and 2001 allroad both had bad cam seals on both sides of the block. valve cover gasket isn't a bad place to check either. both cars had that issue around 80k. j.

mine does the same - at higher speeds though.

i wouldn't worry about it. my allroad has 95k on it and the sound hasn't necessarily changed much over the last 10k besides getting new tires (which increased the sound). i'm still not 100% sure...

i've now had the allroad for 2yrs and put about 35k miles on it (now at 95k). it comes off CPO in May. it's at the indy today being thoroughly...

my rears were bald with even wear, fronts were fine on contisports.

i figured it was just a mix of h-sports and letting the rear slide more. not to mention, never ever having rotated the tires for 30k miles coupled with what seemed like a poor alignment. j.
