You too! Although we didn't get to hang out too much, it was great seeing you again.

I also got to see another S4 member (Dave) who I had not seen since the very controversial B6 S4 Shootout (ver. 1).

Anyway, it was a great weekend, and great seeing old friends. Looking forward...

Overheated. Known issue and there is a "campaign" (read: recall) on this particular issue...

Basically, not knowing the full details of the part, the e-diff has two plates (one for each wheel) and a center clutch that engages and dis-engages the plates when necessary.

Well, there is a...

You have two shots that I'd like to grab hi-res from you if you would be...

engine, mainly the SAI, which is very problematic as I'm sure you know. But I got a good deal on it, and it has performed flawlessly so far. How it likes the track remains to be seen, but it...

Thanks man! 997 is really a great car. ...

Car has an amazing amount of grip. I'm sure the fact that the rear tires are 11.5" wide might have something to do with it (305/25/20, ridiculous).

But, the car instills an amazing amount of...

Hehehe...I was wondering who was going to pick that up first...

Makes perfect sense that you'd get it right away. ;-)

I was definitely rollin' the 20's. I figured it would somehow slow me down. But all it did was solidify my decision to get something else,...

LOL, what up guys (and gals?).

Been a long time and just wanted to jump in and say "what up".

Sadly, I haven't been watching over AW that much lately, but a quick read tells me that most of the...

That's what it's there for. It's worse if you hit the fuel shutoff...

but that's what the rev limiter is there for, to protect the engine. If it wasn't safe to operate the car up to that certain point, then Audi had no reason to install the rev limiter at 7200.

SPEC makes a cluch. Probably better to go OEM though...

They at least carry a 12,000 mile/1 year warranty with their new parts. SPEC might make you liable for any repair costs for their own product, sadly.

HA. Leith? Sucks. It's a bad cam adjuster. Tell them to fix it. There is a reason for that ...

code, and if it appears, then something is wrong. Your engine is not running the way it's supposed to. It's a brand new car, not 5 years old. You should have no cam adjuster issues. Period. Hope...

At least be straight, they can find out if they want to. Flash count, code diagnostic...

that would mean they would have to remove the ecm, but that is not unheard of if the warranty claim substantiates the extra look. Jusy FYI.
