I've seen them both in person.

Was an option for me in 2013 (for my 2014). but the dealer threw it in.

There are lots of alternatives for much cheaper than what the dealer wants on ebay or Amazon.

If it's a genuine Audi accessory, it would include matching screw caps and you'd just use your existing license plate screws to mount it.
