Nothing looks like it's rubbing. The noise is definitely associated with shifting and I'm definitely getting some "unusual" transmission behavior (a bit of slipping associated with the noise).

I've just been informed by my friendly local dealer (the car is in to have the instrument cluster replaced under warranty) that my tie rod end boots are shot, and they want $700 or so to replace them...

As far as I can tell, I haven't done anything to disable opening the trunk. If I hit the door unlock button on the remote twice, the trunk unlocks and I can open it manually. I can also always open...

Aren't there airbags that go there?

It seems like that part of the pillar has an "airbag" emblem on it ... I'd hate to have that big hunk of whatever flying at me in addition to everything else if I got in a wreck...

3) They'll reset the service interval reminder


Besides ... all you need to do is look at the service records to see when the oil...
