Mine too. 2000 A4 1.T Avant. About 90k miles. ECS Stg2 brakes, if that matters. I've been driving with the warning on for about 2-3 years now.

It is the secondary air pump. Normal defect item. I've replaced 3.

behind lower passenger side fog light. Can be done without taking off the bumper (repair position) or just pull it. Other than that it's a few bolts.

Years ago there were guys painting the lower black trim. How is that holding up?

Any pictures? After 5 or 6 years I'd be interested to see how it still looks.
