Getting delivery of my new Q5 Monday and want to protect the paint first up.

I have heard and read that opticoat is excellent. Wanted to get opinions from those who have done it or haven't done...

Received word from my dealer that indeed the ship...

Received word from my dealer that indeed the ship with my Q5 has docked at Houston. Now inspection, clearance and then hopefully on a truck in a day or 2!! Excited :)

Totally agree with Xylar - got to pre-decide everything. You would be too tempted to get the car once it shows up! The dealer knows that and there would be no room for negotiation!

Totally - The dealer in my area is offering 4.25% off. I bet with some negotiation, it can be close to 5% off MSRP for factory orders. Good luck!

3 days is not bad - possibly my dealer is correct then...but Dallas is way closer to Houston than Minneapolis, so I don't know! I have finalized a price already.... So I have to just go pay the money...

Alright - so the Bangkok Highway has moored in Brunswick as expected.

Hoping that it leaves for Houston in 24 or so hours and gets there by 11/4, as expected. :)

That is indeed true - I would think the ships that are/were scheduled to leave Emden now +/- a couple of days would be delayed for sure. Bangkok Highway should be getting close to the US east...
