I used a thule big mouth that held the frame of the bike

seemed to work fine, but I've since switched to fork-mount trays.

yeah, definitely

but if you can't get enough leverage to turn the wrench, you may still be stuck. given how easy it is to access the post-cat sensor with the car on ramps, it's worth it to try replacing it yourself...

depends on how seized your old sensor is. I tried to replace mine last night with the car on ramps but just couldn't get enough leverage to break the old sensor loose. a quick trip to a local shop...

PSA for those who need to replace the rear O2 sensor

Bosch 16121 is a direct fit: the connector fits perfectly and the wire is just a few inches longer than what's needed.

at ~$60 through amazon, there's no reason to spend the $200+ for a new OEM...

Steve suggested 800 for the rear (with the Bilstein)

so I was going to go with that once I finish up enough other stuff on the car to think about tearing the suspension apart!

Eugene, what spring rate do you run up front?

I'm thinking about going with a higher-rate spring in the rear (with a bilstein damper) and might go with a linear spring up front too.

I think the correct procedure is to just send all the parts over to me ;-)

I'm not an expert on R-comps, but I don't know if the R888 is a competitive autox tire

in street tire classes, the RE01R seems to be a great tire these days.
