I love my Audi A4.

Had the car in the shop to get the rear bumper repainted and valence replaced.

Drove around a Mercury Sable for the last 3 days. I basically was crawling up walls because of that POS. Traffic felt...

Audi: 1, Acura: 0 - but question on bumper dampers.

So, I was in a minor fender-bender with a left-turning Acura. (I had a green light, and was going straight. No brainer...though I couldn't spot him through the car in the left lane that decided to...

The language is unimportant

it's the concepts that count. Choose a nice object-oriented language and you'll understand most object-oriented language.

A good CS/IT developer understands that various languages are simply...

*gag*

sigh...it's amazing what Microsoft's marketing arm can do.

"Hey, let's build something like Java and sell it as our invention and screw Sun."

They sure have savvy people over in Redmond.

they have multiple locations. (Watertown, Natick and one other...) A little pricey, but they do a good job for me.

Check your insurance....

At least in Mass, it's always covered and no penalty.

If the crack isn't in a conspicuous spot and isn't too big, sometimes they'll "repair" it.

Boston folk: wheel question...

I have a bone stock setup (non-sport) and I was going to upgrade the wheels...

My worries:

1. Ride quality
2. bent rims

I was thinking of sticking with 16" because of the Big Dig and the...

Yet another excellent service visit to Clair in Boston

Oddly enough last week my low beams both failed on the same day. Just took my baby in this morning for the under-warranty bulb replacements and my Mass. inspection.

Still loving my Audi after 2...

I'd recommend Clair...

They're down in Dedham though. I chose them over Brookline Audi/VW. Service and sales were both good, and respectful even when I was a mere 22 (2 years back) and dressed down.

I did the same last year due to icy roads....

Had the right control arm replaced and other suspension issues dealt with. Because of Quattro, my bill was around $2500 (including 1 wheel).

Insurance covered it minus the deductible.

Hope the...

A desktop won't last long

Unless you use locktite everywhere, the screws are going to all come out. A desktop machine is hardly able to deal with the vibrations of a car (my company has the occasion to move servers around in...

Door frozen or not?

Ok...forgive me, I'm born a Miamian.

I'm here in Boston, and the day before yesterday, it was below 32 degrees F. I go out to my car and with my remote unlock the doors. Then I pull on the driver...

cell phone connection

I believe the FAQs can tell you how to utilize it for the "privacy handset" available for various cell phones out there.

Clair was an excellent experience....

I too bought my first car, a 99.5 1.8T, last year when I was 22. Complete respect, though I was a jean wearing, t-shirt wearing "young-un".

So far Clair's service department has been good. Getting...

Problem: slipping for no reason in the corners?

Ok....it's raining here in Boston.
I know that is a factor....but the last two corners
I took before I got to work (both to the right) were shaky at best.
By no means was I going fast whatsoever...

How about Clair?

They have an associated auto body shop.
They treated me fairly well.
