Yeah, I had a 2000 C5 before the S4

absolutely love it. Obviously not as nice (ie. luxurious) as an S4, but the C5 is meant for a totally different purpose. When I heard 405hp in the Z06, I had to have one. We'll keep the S4...

That's what the guys with the small block V8's think until...

the DSM's blow their doors off. Bottom line: very easy to modify, very cheap to modify, and they go like stink. About $300 can get a good running DSM into the 13's.

I forgot to mention...

it is a spare ECU + chip & all EMCS. I'm selling because of a change in plans. My wife is going to take the S4 (she doesn't want or need 300+ hp). I have a new car ordered for myself.

nice 60' times, but I wouldn't recommend sidestepping the clutch

plus, I always go around the waterbox in cars with AWD.

ski sack removal ques.

I have the sack removed, but how do you remove the front flap with that covers the sack when it's not in use (the flaps with velcro on them)?

You may find you don't even need to do that...

With the subs in place, you will be able to turn the bass down toward the lower end. You'll find you can play the stereo fairly loud this way without any noticeable distortion.

Big improvement to non Bose Symphony stereo

I did not purchase the Bose because IMO, it is not worth the money and I had plans to upgrade the whole stereo except for the head unit. I've ordered the MB Quart adapters for the front speakers,...

Re: Which amps are good? Xtant, Precision Power, a/d/s or MTX

No experience with MTX, but the others are all good. I like Phoenix Gold too.

Thanks, I've seen your site. I was wondering

if the adapter fits the symphony w/o modification, otherwise, I may need to email you with some questions! Thanks.

I'm in the process of planning my stereo. I want to keep the Symphony and replace everything else (I ordered non-Bose for this reason). I've heard of people using the Crutchfield RCA out adapter...
