Intrax springs with Bilstein Sports

I'm swapping out the Intrax springs for a set of Eibachs as soon as the weather breaks though. Intrax springs are waaaaay too soft for this car.

There would really only be 3 points that it could leak...

1. The head gaskets (doubtfull)
2. The rear cam seal
3. The valve cover gasket

I've had both 2 and 3 occur on my AAH and they are both easy fixes.

If you plan on getting rid of your sports...

I need one more to complete my mirror polished set :o) . Out of the 8 sport wheels that I had only 3 actually turned true and balanced when I put them up on the lathe.

You have to remove the airbag in order to remove the steering wheel.

But you don't need to remove the steering wheel to access the instrument cluster. Both are very trivial jobs

"stainless" can be misleading

You need you ask yourself why are you getting stainless in the first place. There are plenty of stainless steels that will rust out on you. Stick to 304 or 316 and you should be ok but don't go...

There's really only 3, 6-32 UNC 120* opposed set screws, the other holes are simply for symmetry and aesthetics. Even though it's typically out of sight, if you drop down and look at it 3 holes just...

I'll warn you about the next shift knob post so whatever you do to replace it doesn't fall apart ;o)

Sorry to hear that, I like the OEM shift knob but neither of my 5spd 90 sports came with one.

The reason I started looking for the euro tails in the first place was...

when I had my '91 80 next to my pearl 90 I noticed how much nicer the B3 tails were vs. B4:
