Probably the cheapest way is to get a wireless router that can run DD-WRT and setup as a bridge.

I still use Verichat but it was discontinued when the company that made it was bought by Nokia.

Here are a few that I know of, some of not under development any more, some run in a JVM and others cost money... your phone doesn't have the OZ IM client on it? Most carriers bundle it because it...

That doesn't work now without downgrading to 1.11 first.

All depends what part of the phone you going to use the most...

If more than 50% of your use is going to be as a music player the iPhone is a great all in one device. There isn't a phone out there that combines the music player and phone better.

Where exactly in Florida? You might want to check the regs on that.

There are only two places I know have stricter regs than NEC for LV wiring, that's Chicago and Las Vegas.

If that's the case all your security alarm wiring has to be in conduit as well.

If you use plenum rated cable in Florida it doesn't need to be in conduit.

If there is a common return. If it's closed you can use PVC still, unless there was a code change.

Gator Al is in Gainesville they don't have local HD channels.

He has to pick up Jacksonville or Orlando stations, at that distance you're going to need a big, old fashioned antenna. OTA ATSC signals are much harder to send long distances.
