It's a gas, fly into GSP, rent a car, stay at the Westin Downtown, great food across the street and downtown, drive to BMW Performance Center for 4-5 hours of on-track experience saturday and sunday....

10” is about 254mm and 275 is wider tread, therefore

I would expect tire section width would be even wider or there should not be stretch.

TireRack can shave a new tire to whatever you want. If I shave a tire to match I’d go to +1/32 relative to older tire to allow for softer new tire. If I went exact match I’d have the tire heat...
