With the exception of the Touareg, all VW models are on transverse platforms, which is completely different from the modular longitudinal...

Has anyone seen an A7 in Daytona Gray in person or on a dealer's inventory list? I have searched autotrader and dealers' websites and I haven't seen a single car in this color. All the other colors...

The TT-S is still cheaper than a regular Cayman with the same options. A well-optioned Cayman S is like $70k. I don't think the TT-RS would be that much.

they really don't need to federalize a seperate model, so why not offer it as an option?

if they can sell the a4 allroad decently optioned for ~$40k, i think they will sell quite a few. Some people want something a bit more upscale than a Subaru.

I actually prefer the look of the soft top. Hardtop covertibles look weird.
