I did way back and ordered black grill/surround/plate delete for about $230 from vagparts.com but...

i don't think they carry them anymore and requires removal of the front bumper.

I have an S3 shift knob I'd give youa good deal on but...

unfortunately it's in storage in Las Vegas and I live in the Caribbean now. Unless you wanna wait until I go back there around November.

I wonder if the dogbone insert will make a noticable difference with no other engine mods?

I installed mine after p-flo air intake and chip and could feel a difference. Especially once combined with the Powerflex front mount bushing.
