Anyone here replace the cam tensioner pad/shoe?

My Cam Tensioner pad/shoe snapped when I was removing my cams.
Would like to replace just the pad if I could. (Cam Tensioners are $$$)
Has anyone here just replaced the pads? Are they reliable?

Sounds like your Aux Coolant Pump or hoses, which run under your intake manifold. If they leak, the coolant could drain behind your engine.

Update: Replacing Aux Coolant Pump

Finally got the intake manifold off my 2000 S4 Tip. Had to remove the Secondary Air Injection Pump, and a tiny barely accessible vacuum hose in the back of the manifold.

Easy. Disconnect the small vacuum hose and blow in it. If you can't, then your diaphragm is not torn/leaking.

At least that is the case with GIAC chips. When I went to demo a GIAC chip, the shop installed an A box, but flashed with Tiptronic SW. Worked fine.

Call APR and ask them if you can flash...
