I won't debate the wisdom of tinted windshields, but...

I'm a shop owner, and would likely write, and have written something very similar in similar circumstances. As alluded below, it's all about covering my own ass.

Very very common on rears of A4s...

However, I have yet to see more than maybe 2 on TTs, but it does sound like a similar problem.

that is truly unbelievable. I just did the same job for a customer

with a widebody Stg III S4, and it was $1000 less.....for a LOT more work and parts.

the car has immo, and the replacement cluster is also immo enabled.

And got full-line Audi/VW Bentley DVD's here. Been doing a LOT of wire-tracing lately.
