That is correct. The only difference was the mounting bracket for the power steering pump. Also the 05 has xenon tracking headlamps and the 07 front clip that I purchased had halogen lamps. The left...

I used the original harness that was in the 2005 and the ecm from the 2007. I could not use the ecm from the 2005 becaause it was damaged from the collision.

Transmission housing repair

Anyone ever have a transmission housing welded? Bought a salvage 2005 A6 and the tranny housing has a crack in it. Part is not available from Audi. Any suggestions?

2005 a6 engine mounts

Does anyone know of any aftermarket engine mounts for 2005 3.2? I need a pair, audi wants $220 a piece, and the salvage yards don't bother keeping them.

2005 drivers airbag

Does anyone know if a drivers airbag from a 2006 A6 will work in a 2005? Is there a designation for the airbag part numbers? The number from my 2005 is 4F0880201S6PS and the 2006 is 4L0880201J6PS....

Can anyone tell me if the engine can be removed from above if the complete front end is off of the car or does it still need to be removed from underneath?

okay...so what else exactly is supposed to be in the left trunk compartment besides the amp and k-box?? There is an amp located on the top of the rack, the k-box in the next opening, and the third...

Yes, the optic lines were cut. I assume that one was input and the other output. How would that effect the main unit?
