I bought my S4 and Golf for cash in 2000. Then I ate some major losses in 2001.

I have a $800K carry forward loss, so I'm still working on recovering my losses. Fortunatly I've made most of it back with real estate in the past 2 years like you.

Actually, Streetwerke is developing a 450HP+ turbo upgrade for the A3. It's $9K but that's a hell of

a lot less than $80K. Of course a lot more would have to be upgraded including suspension, brakes, etc. and it will be interesting to see if the DSG can handle that amount of horsepower.

I didn't know that the mount on the dash adjacent to the glove box was the Variocom bracket - pretty hidious looking if unused. I thought that was an after market bracket.

I thought I saw that too. I couldn't tell in the photo since the paddles were black plastic instead

of aluminum. I'm surprised they are plastic on Euro models instead of anodized aluminum. It's the NA models that usually get short changed.

That might be bogus about the steering wheel since A4/A6 US S-line gets logo'd steering wheel with same controls I don't buy Audi rationale. The seats though might have structural differnces that...

All seasons are higher performance than snow tires! Since there isn't more than a couple weeks of

snow in the midatlantic they work fine for me. Plus they are extremely QUIET. With AWD I haven't been stuck yet in them

The stock OEM ALL SEASON tires on the A3 are fine. I will probably replace...
