What's the VAG group number in the properties files for a 2001 Audi A4 1.8TQM? I need to know that in order to log my "new" car. Thanks!

A lot of people are running the VAST kit and they like it. FYI - it's only an "on/off" type of injection system. That makes it more simple but some people prefer the kind that matches spray with fuel...

Keep in mind that the sound will also change if/when you go with aftermarket downpipes...

the piggie pipes (gutted OEM) sound about the same as OEM (just more turbo whistle). But if/when you go with something like a 2.5" or 3" stainless downpipe, the sound will open up and be louder (and...

Interesting. Looks good, just slow :) I guess that's what APR is all about...

Nice and smooth but conservative. I bet if you add any fuel it won't do much to midrange timing but may as well play with it. You may have to force some timing addition via Lemmi. Looks like you have...

Good point but even for low boost on 91 pisstane I think 42# is too small since...

it's necessary to run a richer AFR (low 11s). When I was homebrew running 21 psi taper to 19 up top, I was maxing out my 42# because I was running 11.0 AFR on 91 craptane. That doesn't leave any room...

Track junkies - are Nitto NT01 OK in the rain?...

I'm assuming not but mine are fairly new (not shaved) and so they still have the grooves (not worn down to slicks yet). It's supposed to rain this weekend during my track event and I no longer have...

Be careful how you interpret all of these peoples' logs...

most are custom tuned and not OTS. Also, some are running water/meth or different pump octanes.

Are you going to have the boost profile smoothened out? Doesn't look optimal.

Any of you guys run with NCRC for track events?....

A colleague of mine recommended them as a lower cost alternative to ACNA and yet less "free for all" than NASA. Any feedback?

Yep, AWE ICs take some modding despite what their instructions lead people to believe..

also, they changed their production design slightly last year I think (new casting process??). That's why I recommend people to get ERs these days - if you're going to do cutting/bending, may as well...

A buddy of mine ran that on his 2001 S4. Worked great. I was surprised how much...

just a swaybar does even with stock suspension. Great, cheap way to significantly improve handling feel. Of course, I think H&R coilovers + swaybar is better, but just the sway is a huge improvement...

I'm selling my 18x8 RS4 DTM wheels with snow tires...

but I have no need for 17" rims. You could unload those yourself for about $400-$600 I'm guessing. I live in San Francisco. Email me if you want more info.
