With both sensors reading off, you probably have the timing off.

Remove and reinstall the timing belt and make sure cyl-3 is at TDC (install the crank locking pin). Use the cam bar to align the cams and properly tension the belt.

Pray that it wasn't off enough...

I've pulled "a few" 2.7 motors. :)

Depending on where the wire break is, you should be able to just solder/splice it. If its too close to the connector, you can push the old pin out carefully and get a new pin/wire from the dealer to...

Winter blend gasoline, longer warmup times, etc.

Most likely cooler weather unless the difference is more than 1-2 mpg. If its more significant than that, you might have a mechanical problem.

The clutch slave rod isn't attached at either end so play is normal. But I'd replace the boot.

I don't think the boot is available separately so you'll have to order an entire slave cylinder. But just swap the boot to avoid having to bleed it.

I believe that 1-pin connector is for the oil...

I had straight RS6s first. The difference between the straight RS6s and hybrids isn't huge.

My RS6 turbos were used so they needed the rebuild... hybrids made sense. If you had a new set, keep 'em stock.

They're cheap on Ebay.

If you end up having to take the crank pulley off, you're gonna want to have the cam bar too.

Oil pan, crank seal or the crank plate itself (it has a metal gasket behind it).

Hose the area down with brake cleaner and then run it... might make it easier to pinpoint the fresh oil w/o all the gunk.

But you are probably gonna have to pull the harmonic balancer pulley to...

Crank bolt is doable if you have the crank locking pin, a breaker bar and a cheater pipe.

I think the first thing is just to do some investigation and pinpoint the source of the leak.
