Just an FYI... My 1989 200 MC1 came with the supertorque belt... I have a useless to me older style belt and pump sitting here to prove it, lol.

if you are going to run EFI you would probably be fine running 65 lb'ers, just adjust for them n the programing.

what alt belt are you running? if you arent running a continental it may not have the correct profile, causing you to toss the belt.

bulbs are fine, tested them with ohm meter...

I guess it is the switch... I will try cleaning mine for a temp soloution until my new-to-me stalks arrive.

All lights work EXCEPT low beams...

Hight beams, driving lights, blinkers, tail lights all work, just not the low beams. Its like the first position (parking lights) and the 2nd position (head lights) are the same. I already have known...

1989 200 TQ Avant with an airbag but with a Mac11 ECU?

I was under the impression that any T44 with an airbag was a later build and was therefore an MC2 with a Mac14 ECU... But the one I looked at yesterday has an airbag but the Mac11 ECU... I didnt...

no I did not, I didnt even bother bidding. and I do not have a compressor map...

I think the car is a late '89 so I prob will have the K24 anyway. wether its good now @ 200k miles... thats a different story, lol.

run the turbo before because there was like 20 minutes left on the auction...

porsche 951 K26 turbo... decent upgrade for a 10v? I know itll have a bit more lag than...

the K24 that comes on the car, but I am OK with that.

I guess it has a bit larger compressor side than an audi K26.

worth it for $120 shipped?

I was re-reading my many emails with the owner, turns out its the pressure accumulator....

under the car, which is no biggie.

I will be doing a compression check anyway though.

and I plan on having to replace stuff anywho.
