Hm... this is strange... Bumper sensors are radar based, so light snow should not be obstacle. It could be a problem for camera, but it is located in mirror housing, so should be cleaned by wipers....

Well, it might depend on a market. In most EU countries, for example, MMI unit have SIM slot, where you can put any SIM. Personally I use Virgin Mobile and it works like a charm.

On diesels, engine braking is quite noticeable. On TFSI it was substantially less visible (though I can only compare diesel Q5 and TFSI passat). Manual downshifting worked for me fine on 2011 Q5 2.0...

Any SD card (SD/SDHC/SDXC) with capacity of up to 128GB will work. It need to be formatted using exFAT, FAT, FAT32 or NTFS. But probably such capacity is excessive, unless you use very high bit rates...

These are radar sensors for ACC. Cornering lights (and fog lights) are build into the main headlights and, I believe, are standard on on all LED headlights on Mk2.

Well, it depends on country. In Poland ACC is available as either stand alone option or as an upgrade to comfort pack. So I do not have DAP, but have ACC (and radar sensors in the front grill) ;-)...
