Buying modded cars always a risk, and in the market value usually flat or lower. I prefer to mod cars myself to make sure its done how I want and less likely to have been beaten on.

Probably... just look up the part number in one of the many online audi parts catalogs... Search on something like "wholesale Audi parts". If the PN is the same, it won't matter what it came out of....
