Re: Anyone have the need for an MTM H box stg1 EEPROM?

1) yes, the factory unit is soldered into the board
2) I am not 100% positive, MTM actually did my ECU, I just happen to have a stg4 ECU right now (swapped em out) - I would expect that it would be...

Re: knocking in steering rack

Its most likely the bolts that hold you're steering rack in. There are two within your firewall, one will require you to remove the battery, its a 10m, and the other top, reachable one is near the...

Recently I had my inspection done, where the state checked OBDII codes/readiness (passed)

however since they did that, I can not talk to the ECU via VAG anymore. Is there anything that could have happened with their tool or not likely? I have disconnected the ECU for the evening to see...

Do you think idling will get it to there too? I am stuck in the office, and its just as easy for me

start it and let it run for 30 mins, plus I could shoot right over to the emissions shop while the car is warm.

Emissions Readiness - How long does it take for the O2 sensors and Catalyst to reset back to Passed?

I need to do emissions this week, and I checked my codes and I had one that they would have most likely have failed the cars emissions (intermitten EGT error) - I checked readiness and everything...

STG IV ECU runs about that boost level in a ~65F environment. It does drop off a little if I recall

Re: Who is "he"? I just found out I had stg V all along. Requested boost is 18#s tapering to 16.

You sure you have even a K04 chip? My boost is around 20psi until mid 6000 rpm range and tapers to 18...

Maintenance on Ferrari's?

Anyone have any experience with F355s or F360s as far as maintenance goes? What could one expect to pay yearly for maintenance on one that is moderately driven? (6-8K/yr)?

Thanks

From a stop you might have a chance for the first few hundred feet

- a stg2 will get *destroyed* on the highway, you'd be hard pressed to find a stg3 S4 that can hang with the V12TT powered benz's on the highway.

If its only 1000lbs heavier, but it has near 2x's...

Recently had a rear wheel bearing replaced and have been having

suspension noises ever since. It is the right rear that is making noise. Now I have had the wheel off and have figured out where the noise is coming from. It is not the e-brake cable, but it...

Unless there are only 6 cars running :-P

That might have been the only instance NASCAR would have been more enjoyable to watch.

(I am with you though, F1 primarily and GT class)
