DrGP, I remember you from the B6 forums way back. I think you had a red B6, as I recall...

I'm surprised the B8 mileage isn't a lot better. I have a tough time achieving anything higher than 19MPG...

I find it hard to believe they improved performance and handling *and* they added 200lbs over my already tank-like B6? Are there any reasonable weight-reduction strategies, or is it super expensive...

G12+ coolant: add 50/50 w/distilled H2O?

Noticed my coolant level was below minimum. Got some G12+. No idea what the ratio is in there already, but if I add some, should I go say 50% coolant with 50% distilled water?

Agree. It's a fantastic piece of concept art by a talented student...

Think of it as automotive brainstorming. If designers didn't push the limits of what's considered "normal" in a car, we'd never have gotten airbags, rear view mirrors, air conditioning, windshield...

Changing tires is an expensive proposition at this point. How long do shocks last?

Lug bolts were checked today, All properly torqued.

Do you think being out of alignment would cause this problem? The car tracks reasonably straight.

I'm not sure how many miles the tire shop put on and it's nearly a week later now, so little chance at figuring that out, but it wouldn't have been more than about 10 miles based on the time they...
