Take it to your Audi independent shop and ask their opinion. Since we can't hear the noise, it's going to be difficult at best to diagnose...

I would guess a comfort control module has experienced water intrusion, but scan with VCDS (aka VAGCOM) to diagnose the problem.

The preferred scanner for VW and Audi platforms is Ross Tech VCDS. Does everything that can be done. Great support, too.
