I don't have a ton of HB experience, but have worked with a few with the new file.

You can set the boost high and cap it with a PBC. Works like a charm.

Have not tried the same setup with a TCD and PBC. But with the new setup if the ecu see too much knock it reduces boost...

Not really accurate to say that. The file is set up with the older, more aggresive boost ramp that

many like for torque, but was prone to overboost on some cars.

I like to use a parallel boost controller to limit spikes.

With the GIAC boost controller set to max the N75 duty is pretty...

Give end user and tuners better control over hardware and software integration. If you have a 93

oct car with a great IC you could run it higher.

A 91 oct car in 120 degree temps with marginal IC you can turn it down.

For track time it may be easier to learn technique with the power turned...

The e-gas has been softened a wee bit. Some guy with initials M. D. said he would like that :)

There is still a pretty big jump in torque going to 1.4 bar. But at least with this you can turn it down a bit.
