for $200 they did a exterior/interior/engine bay package

washed, clayed, buffed, waxed the outside.

vacuumed and shampooed the carpets, wiped down the dash (everywhere it seems).

i keep looking for spots they missed on the outside/inside, but...

sports mode is nice, as it'll keep the gear entering a turn. and it'll downshift while coming to a

light. stuff that i do w/ my 3rd pedal on my car, but fun to see the computer rev matching.

at least DSG sounds more descriptive, w/ a certain amount of prestige.

the s-tronic name just sounds like another lame slushbox

i have an A3 loaner for the day

S-line 2.0T DSG (i think).

i like the car a lot, it's quite fun to drive. the new-ness and tight-ness of the car is a stark difference from my '01 B5 S4.

i think i have the DSG or S-tronic or...

the gradient difference b/w the fronts and rears are prolly enough to let you go unnoticed.

also, i didn't have an issue when i lived in the east bay and south bay. only when i moved to the city did i have problems w/ this

no-front-lic ticket while PARKED in berkeley. then a tint ticket on the way home ON the bay bridge.

this is the second tint ticket i received on the bay bridge (east bound) w/in the past 4 months.

the CHP gave me a "break" and didn't ticket me for no lic plate while he had me pulled over on...

V1 hands down. recommend one if you do a lot of highway miles, esp trips to tahoe, etc.

not really usefull for city driving... damn K band goes off at every little thing.

V1 arrows help a lot, imo.

each time i drive up to tahoe it has saved my arse.... CHP in the tahoe area seem...

thinking of ditching the MTM chip for APR, mainly for the kill switch feature.

my MTM chip on 91oct was fine. no ESP light, no engine stumble.

altho i haven't driven it chipped in 15k miles. might throw the sucker back in there soon.
