Ended up lowering the rear sub-frame a side at a time 1.5 inches or so. Used a Cargo (ratchet)...

Highly recommend the Michelin-Pilot A/S 3's. Great tire, more summer than all-season though. Snow traction is poor compared to say a Conti DWS all-season tire.

Agree... On my B5 Avant, same thing happened and luckily still under warranty. Dealer had to drop the tank to replace that breather tube. Took them a month to figure it out.

I've used an oil extractor for 15 plus years and with zero issues. Drove my last B5 Avant for 13 plus years (1.8T) and zero sludge issues, same with my wife's now 12 year old BMW 330.

I feel you...

X2 on the matte look... I just use Griots leather care product and have on all of my cars for years with good results. My wife's car is 13 year old and the leather seats in her car look really good...

100% yes... The FSD's really ride and handle...

100% yes... The FSD's really ride and handle that good.

Even put them on my wifes '02 330i and really helped with the sharp impacts and still able to control the sport package springs on that...

Like others have said, KONI FSD's hands down...

Like others have said, KONI FSD's hands down should be your first step with improving the ride. I have a H&R sway on the rear of the car and it really has very little impact on ride quality.
