Audi enthusiast owned, adult driven with loads of service records/receipts.  This is one of the final years Audi imported manual transmission wagons into the US!  This is a really fun comfortable car...

You're taking this personally, and it's not personal. I'll give credit to those that tried, but their efforts were wasted. Someone at IB made a decision to throw out the most useful features of...

I thought the original intention communicated by JET was to retain some of that threaded functionality that was so important to AW users. Regardless, I can understand how it was technically...

Yeah, I like that beveled tip too...

It has a very clean finished appearance that you don't find on OEMs. I remember I was floored when I first heard and saw AWE's Twin2 on their B5 S4 Avant (similar beveled tip).

good to know...just emailed Gary and found out the Michs are coming in in 245's soon.

Noise is a factor for me. As for winter usage, I would like to be able to run them longer into the fall, since I usually don't see snow until Jan. Right now I'll switch over in Nov just because the...

S4 exhaust tips on their website look like that...A4's are rolled in all their pics.

I also have Stephen's old car (all the mods were installed by APR). I'm guessing, but it's possible they put one of the first B7 exhausts on this car. They may have since changed the tips...I don't...

Have you removed the plugs to see how they look?

BTW, the MAF isn't an issue. Not sure why those guys think you need to spray something into the airbox (maybe they really are clueless). Typically you find a vac line leading to the intake...

Whole bunch of conjecture in there that seems pretty baseless to me.

The gummed up valves are believable, esp. since the injectors are no longer behind the intake valves. But according to them, this can become an issue in just 3K miles. Something else is going on...

Gotta agree with this...

If the bulb is actually bad, that's one thing, and it's a consumable as far as most warranties are concerned. In most cases the igniter is the culprit, and that is not a bulb. Look over the...

You're talking about people with poor discipline?

Like the kind that spend the money before the rebate arrives?

Hee hee...I know what you mean, so I say that with a hint of sincerity. I would bet money a large fraction of those who like to...

You wrote all that and didn't even ask if he was running a HPFP file?

pierranchis, you might still notice drivability issues while mixing and matching pumps and software from two companies. Slight variations in their pumps would create the expected outcome. Unless...

I wouldn't.

It's not going to harm the leather, but it gives the leather a slippery/greasy feel that I hate. Zaino is a little like that, but not greasy, and the others are not at all like that.

Not normal.

It's probably not serious, but warrants monitoring. Could be a pulley or something going bad. If that's the case, the sound will gradually become more pronounced and probably won't go away after a...
