Bye-Bye AW...it was fun while it lasted....in the "old" days...

Sorry, but I can't deal with this....well, let's call it what it is - crappy design, color choice and most inconvenient navigation....perhaps I'll be lurking once in a while but for now........enjoy...

Hmm....then what's wrong with the A4 wagon? Without level control suspension there is no point....

Yes, it is pretty and uses all of today's new gadgets but to me it looks more like a fashion statement; why Audi calls it an "allroad" beats me because it isn't.

Anyone remember the fact that our...

Tell me about it :-) I put 50 bucks on Rubens to get new shocks for the track car :-)

Ross has plenty of experience with the Red team so he knows the key elements of producing a fast out-of-box car. I just hope it doesn't turn into another "Stepneygate" :-)

No worries about Kimi,...

Fred, there is no such thing as racing :-) It's all in your dream....Yours truly, Barney Rubble :-)

Darn, can't wait to see them setting off once again; it's about time......no NASCAR here - never, but plenty of ice racing and winter driving/rally practice :-)

If Ross B can pull it off and kick...

Did you unplug the MAF and see if the symptoms are still the same? And perhaps drive around with

the VAG plugged in to capture some data; engine 01 - measuring blocks 15+16 (I think), see if the MF is "walking".

If you replaced the CP already, did you check for oil residue around the spark...

And here is the scary part: "WE DRIVE THEM OURSELVES AS WELL AS PHOTOGRAPH THEM AND WRITE OUR OWN DESCRIPTIONS!"

Re: Yeah...my cousin's friends aunts nephew had a problem

Somehow, I don't like the sarcastic sound of that but it makes no difference.....I'm too old for that......and to make the point very clear, I love my Audis and wouldn't drive anything else, but if...

The very best thing about this place is that if your allroad shocks are bad then just

raise it to L4, the suspension tester doesn't even recognize it :-)
Last time there was an older Pontiac on the suspension tester and the car felt apart, dropped some bolts and died on the...

Which cams are you using? 2.8 or RS4? BTW, if you want to go for larger injectors then (given your

fuel pump can do it) then here is a good place to go: Racetronix.......way cheaper then RS4 stuff...

http://www.racetronix.com/</a

IMHO, it only takes a minute longer for the cats to work efficient but by keeping the foot off the

throttle it should not really impact the overall function.

BTW, I passed inspection w/o the SAP and the values/data on the DMV's OBD system were absolutely below the limits. Killing trees would be...

Re: You have disconnected the vacuum lines to the kombi valves or disconnected the solenoid haven't

The entire pump is out, the valves still need to be removed and it's about time even though the car is running w/o any problems......yes, I know....should have taken them out with the pump :-)

Not a problem; my SAP is completely gone w/o even throwing a DTC, the only time you can feel

the difference is on a cold day start up; it takes a couple of minutes longer before she runs really smooth but that's about it.....

Throw in some Bobcat pads from Carbotech and all will be fine; we have moved off OEM specs

some time ago; the allroad is too heavy for these milk bottle top sized little brakes and the OEM specs are not really up for the challenge to stop the allroad in a rather comfortable time.

Some...

If you plan to keep the allroad for some time then perhaps it is worth to consider the upgrade
