And you still hate Audi's single grill frame ("SGL")

Nothing like living in the past.

I'm surprised that you have high-speed Internet service. I would have expected a 300 Baud modem set next to the rotary dial telephone.

The retractable wing on the Turbo is "uber" cool ....

The wing, at the base of the backlight, raises at roughly 75-80 mph. After the car reaches 115 mph, the left and right sides of the wing extend outward.

The rest of the car leaves much to be...

^^^ Did you forget about your comment on the Bentley?

You need to get out of H. Glen more often.

There are numerous plain old cars, including Benz, BMW and 300C, tastefully elevated to new aesthetic values in the city. I've have even spotted a...

Plenty of Cayennes fall into the same category. Why would the Panamera be any different?

I have yet to see a "tastefully enhanced" (sarcasm intended) Audi S8 but there are numerous Cayennes so modified running about the city. I would expect the Panamera to become popular among the DUB...

I would really doubt that the Panamera Turbo would sticker for less than $140,000

With options, and the Porsche options book is rather pricey, I would consider the Bentley Flying Spur Speed a competitor. The BFSS is very, very fast yet a cosseting drive.

A couple of options ...

Both the Audi S6 and S8 offer close to the same level of performance of the Panamera 4S.

One could even consider the Audi S4 as an option, it delivers similar performance for a considerable less...

Hmmm. An Audi C6 RS6 or base Porsche Panamera for $3500 less ...

Porsche's Panamera pricing is a bit salty for these economic times. I'll take an RS6 over the bloat car anytime. It's a sedan and there are several competitors, including the Audi, that are similar...

Dunlop 3D...

I have the the Dunlops on my car and the performance in the snow, ice and dry payment is more than adequate. The few times I have driven this past Winter I've surprised a few SUV drivers pulling...

Which original building? The one on Sample Street or on Chippewa Street?

I remember Tirerack at both locations.

The Chippewa Street site was seeped in history. The large manufacturing facility located behind the Tirerack store was the Curtis-Wright facility run under...

Re: the dinner program was a nice perk

I was always surprised by the dinner menu. The only "business" with a better lunch plan was the Chicago Fed.

Can Aston-Martin do ugly?

Yes it can!

What were they think? Or more correctly, what were they smoking?

Ugly car warning!

Different temperatures is the most likely cause...

Heat from the engine compartment will dry the fenders quicker than the the doors. The residual heat from the wheels/brake assembly and the exhaust system tends to dry the rear fenders more quickly...

But they do have the beautiful sky lobby...

The article also stated the MWE dropped the evening food service. I recall having a client at that firm that provided us with a very nice lunch and dinner during visits to their office.

Ford's interiors are cheap, both in appearance and tactile quality, compared to other vehicles within the same pricing point. For example, the Honda Accord and Hyundai Genesis have much better...

I've seen it in person at the Chicago auto show and it is a BIG non-event ...

The harsh lights of McCormick place did little to hide the blemishes of this design. Interestingly, the 2010 Buick LaCrosse, in the same environment, has a pleasant design.

The Ford SHO is...

In your numerous posts you claim (1) that you're a student and (2) you're going for a particular "look"-hence the staggered wheels, and that you have limited funds available.

In response, you are...

If 4Driver4 needs to wait for an inbound train the time is, according to the CTA, is between 4 to 9 minutes during peak times. Realistically, I would allocate one hour for the ride on the Blue Line...

Is Midway an option?

If Midway is an option with a flight arriving roughly the same time, I would opt for Midway and a taxi ride.

Arriving at ORD roughly before 8:00 am, not counting any delays, makes it tight to...
