Yup. I have not done this personally, but many others have. Do a search for painted lowers. Some paint shops will remove the lower trim and sand/paint, and others will paint while still attached...

Yup...CEL was on before this visit for something else...

CEL on for a "Evaporator Canister Purge Solenoid"...I was told this wasn't too big of a deal. Only $54 to fix, but just was waiting. Unfortunately I am at about 110,000 miles so I won't get them...
